so everyone needs to look at the beds from the french empire period. napolean dictated this style and the beds of the wealthy were made to mimic the tents he slept in while on the field during war. in french, lit a canape. (too lazy to look up mac accent shortcuts). anyway, this reminded me of it. and if i move in a few months, one preference will be a larger bedroom… so i can build an extravagant floor-to-ceiling canopy over my bed. hopefully it will be more like a mini cave of delicious slumber and less like a slow death of allergy attacks.
